This role supports growth in water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste opportunities in South Florida, with offices in Plantation, Boca Raton, or Miami. As an Account Leader, you will collaborate with Area Leaders, Area Managers, Project Managers and Technical Experts to successfully win projects and execute them to achieve clients’ objectives while delivering excellent client service. You will contribute to strategic growth, planning and support of market initiatives in Broward County, with Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade County as secondary focus. Responsibilities
Build and strengthen client relationships with decision makers at multiple levels to become a trusted advisor. Develop a deep understanding of local utility and solid waste issues, client needs, future project planning, and local market conditions to improve positioning for pursuits. Understand client organizations’ processes and culture to create value-added solutions. Lead pursuit plans and develop client engagement strategies; participate in task order development and interviews to win new projects. Coordinate with project managers to monitor planning, design, and construction administration to deliver high-quality services on schedule. Serve as project manager to monitor planning, design, and construction administration; lead or assist in scope and cost proposals for task orders and projects. Serve as a senior technical resource on municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, and/or solid waste planning, design, construction, and program management projects. Support development of junior and mid-level staff. Demonstrate ability to deliver financial performance including growth. Travel up to 30% for client meetings and related activities. Qualifications & Experience
10 years of experience in business development and/or project management in the water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, and solid waste sectors. Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or related field. Florida P.E. License or ability to obtain within 6 months. Key Skills/Attributes
The ideal candidate will have client and project management experience with municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, and/or solid waste projects of various sizes. Strong technical engineering and management skills, planning and design experience, and strong business acumen. Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients. Strong technical writing, client presentations, and relationship-building skills with local municipalities. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or related field. Project Management Professional or Environmental Sustainability Professional certification is desirable. 5+ years of relevant sales and account management experience preferred. Why Arcadis?

Benefits for full-time and part-time roles include medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401K, disability covers, life insurance, paid parental leave, and additional benefits. Nine paid holidays and 20 days of PTO accrue annually. Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year. Actual salary varies based on experience, education, budget, and location.
