Responsibilities

The Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for the disease states represented in the Lilly dermatology portfolio, including dermatology practices and key hospital accounts. Build relationships with key customers in the dermatology space to increase adoption of Lilly’s therapies. Identify and develop business relationships with state/local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations. Serve as a credible expert and resource for customers. Territory Management: develop a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape and use business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs. Account Management: navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner. Dialogue Agility: actively listen and adapt to customer prompts during interactions. Medical Integrity: demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information, our product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace, engaging with every member of an office/account. Selling Skills: promote the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogue; use the selling model to help identify appropriate patients. Sales Activity: utilize business analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while following internal policies and PhRMA code. Partner Collaboration: collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated customer experience. Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state. Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas. Additional locations and skills
Additional Locations: Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Middletown. Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after undergraduate degree; other relevant work experience or graduate degree considered. Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills. Account-based selling experience; ability to engage staff members in accounts. Strong ability to navigate complex integrated health systems and familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution models. Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment. Experience working with cross-functional partners; strong learning agility, self-motivation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and influence. Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $87,000 - $204,600. Full-time employees are eligible for a company bonus (depending on company and individual performance). Lilly offers a comprehensive benefits program including 401(k); pension; vacation, health, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits; life insurance; leave benefits; and well-being programs.
