Retention Marketing Specialist
Our high-growth consumer brand is seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist to lead lifecycle strategy and drive long-term customer engagement. This role will focus on reducing churn, increasing loyalty, and maximizing customer lifetime value through data-driven marketing initiatives. Ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn insights into impact. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute retention strategies across onboarding, engagement, and reactivation Launch and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to deliver personalized experiences Build and test win-back, loyalty, and referral programs Partner with Product, CX, and Creative teams to improve customer satisfaction and reduce friction Monitor KPIs including churn rate, repeat purchase rate, and LTV Use analytics tools to assess campaign performance and inform future strategy Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to refine messaging and improve conversion Qualifications
4-6+ years in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing (DTC or subscription-based experience preferred) Proficiency with CRM and automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and customer insights Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns and optimize customer journeys Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation frameworks, and loyalty program design Understanding of subscription economics and customer value metrics Benefits
