Ag Equipment Territory Manager

Great Plains Ag Territory Manager North Dakota & Minnesota A Great Plains Ag Territory Manager is responsible for working with dealers in a specific area to promote and sell Great Plains agricultural equipment and products. This territory is comprised of 24 dealer locations across North Dakota and Minnesota. Many of these dealers may have a “major” line like John Deere, Case, New Holland, or AGCO, or may be a “short line” stand alone dealer. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a background in agriculture. Extensive overnight travel is required for this role. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting dealer sales staff in retail customer visits to promote the sale of Great Plains product Initiating a sales training program for sales personnel in each dealership. Promoting and being involved in grower meetings, demonstrations, field days, and open houses. Utilizing company ordering programs to ensure proper dealer inventory at the proper season Developing the territory: driving revenue growth from all dealers, replacing inactive dealers, recruiting new dealers, and being involved in identifying all opportunities for growth Selling products and writing orders for Great Plains products to ensure that the proper inventory is in the dealer’s hands prior to and during the selling season. Following up with the dealer and grower on unresolved service issues. Attending annual sales meetings to stay informed on our product and promote your personal development and growth. Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural industry Proven track record of successes in North Dakota, Minnesota, and / or adjacent areas Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Must live within the described territory Willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work effectively with minimal or no supervision Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Bachelor's degree (B.
