Overview
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Executive Assistant for a prestigious nonprofit organization based in New York City. This is a direct hire, full-time hybrid position with in-office work required.
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, ensuring smooth daily operations through expert calendar management, communications support, and logistical coordination. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to a mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and sound judgment while handling sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel and logistics for senior leadership
Prepare, edit, and format internal and external communications, presentations, and reports
Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders
Track deadlines, follow up on action items, and manage confidential documents
Support special projects, board meetings, and events as needed
Foster efficient office operations and help optimize administrative workflows
Qualifications
Strong experience supporting senior-level executives in a dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack)
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and maintain discretion
Comfortable working independently and as part of a diverse, mission-aligned team
Compensation and Benefits This is a direct hire role offering a competitive salary of $100,000 annually. The full benefits package includes:
