We are currently recruiting for a Territory Manager - Charlottesville, VA. Main cities include Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Bluefield, and Charleston, WVA. All candidates are required to currently reside in the Charlottesville territory.
The Territory Manager - Charlottesville is responsible for understanding and identifying a customer need, supports pull-through activities relative to the customer strategy and market access, delivers sales results, and ensures that Radius Health is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and their patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and drive outstanding sales performance that ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded.
Effectively use assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
Routinely share such information with relevant Radius stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region.
Regularly use analytical tools to understand and evaluate the business.
Work with leadership to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all KPI goals.
Work with other Radius Health personnel around common objectives to coordinate selling efforts.
Provide timely and competent administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Required qualifications include:
Strong sense of self-motivation/initiative, excellent decision-making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration skills, and the ability to learn and adapt to the environment.
5+ years of previous sales experience in orthopedics, injectable pharmaceuticals, biologics, buy and bill, or medical device preferred.
Experience calling on hospitals, endocrinologists, and rheumatologists preferred.
Experience working in a science or healthcare environment developing customer relationships.
Understanding of account-based selling, osteoporosis, biologic, and injectable markets a significant plus.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver's license.
The work is performed in a remote office environment with occasional required in-person office work and meetings and frequent work in an in-person customer setting. Air, vehicle, and overnight travel is frequently required for this role.

We offer a compensation package with medical, dental, and vision benefits, parental leave, a 401K match, and a generous time off plan. The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 plus incentive.
