Overview The Marketing & Communications Specialist will provide support for the College of Engineering's marketing and communication efforts, including special support for UGA's Manufacturing Living Labs (MLL) and the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility (GNEM).

Responsibilities

Design graphics and other visual elements that align with the university and college's brand identity to promote developments in research and technology in the College of Engineering, MLL, and GNEM.

Create promotional materials including banners, posters, brochures, and flyers.

Develop, write, and edit press releases, feature stories, newsletters, and social media posts.

Develop online marketing using social media channels.

Participate in college, MLL, and GNEM events to promote and capture content material.

Record, edit, and promote videos.

Assist faculty and students with graphics for research publications and grant proposals.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

WordPress experience

Knowledge of HTML and CSS

Photography experience

FLSA: Exempt

FTE: 1.00

Additional Details

This position will work in person on the main Athens campus.

Standard business hours are 8am-5pm.

Occasional evening/weekend hours as needed to capture College events.
