Marketing & Communications Specialist

position at the University of Georgia, College of Engineering. The Marketing & Communications Specialist will provide support for the College of Engineering’s marketing and communication efforts, including special support for UGA’s Manufacturing Living Labs (MLL) and the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility (GNEM). Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Development: Assist with College of Engineering and GNEM social media, including creating and posting content; manage MLL social channels, monitor engagement, and use outlets to market events. Marketing & Graphic Design: Design and create marketing and promotional material; collaborate with faculty and graduate students on figures and graphs for research publications and grant proposals. Photography, Videography, & Editing: Attend events to capture content; edit and assemble videos for various outlets. Writing & Copyediting: Conceptualize and develop stories for news releases, newsletters, social media, the college website, and other platforms. Other Duties as Assigned: Other duties related to the success of communications and marketing efforts for the College of Engineering; attend monthly staff meetings and participate in professional development and trainings. Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent Preferred Qualifications : WordPress experience; knowledge of HTML and CSS; photography experience Details
