We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
to work for our Northeast Ohio client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Responsibilities: Prepare, compile, and process journal entries and other financial transactions and perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of account balances and the proper accounting treatment of transactions Assist in the accounting due diligence process of our mergers and acquisitions, as well as the financial integration of new acquisitions Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to support financial close and reporting requirements Conduct monthly budget vs. actual analyses and communicate results across all functions/departments Comply with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures in compliance with GAAP Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people Quick learning team player who is highly motivated and energetic
