UtilityInnovation Group is seeking a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to help shape scalable finance processes across multiple business units.
As a key member of our growing finance and accounting team, you’ll take ownership of core accounting activities, drive process improvements, and collaborate with business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting. This position is hybrid and based in Fort Worth, Texas , giving you the opportunity to work closely with colleagues while maintaining flexibility.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting processes in compliance with GAAP, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets Lead month-end close activities and support project accounting Prepare and analyze reports such as ad hoc financial analysis, bank reconciliations, and cash balance forecasts Drive process improvements by documenting, standardizing, and enhancing accounting procedures and efficiencies Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions that support project accounting and the monthly close process Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency transactions (preferred) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Strong written and verbal communication skills What We Offer
