As a Senior Global Sales Account Hunter, you will be the tip of the spear: a strategic hunter with the relationships, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to win large-scale, complex deals. Your mission is to capture new logos, expand wallet share with global customers, and deliver double-digit revenue growth by engaging global carriers, hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, cloud platforms, and system integrators with network demands in Latin America.
This is not a maintenance role—it’s a business builder role for a proven closer who thrives on complexity, influence, and impact.## Key Responsibilities### Sales Strategy & Execution* Design and execute a targeted hunting strategy to acquire high-value accounts and secure large-scale connectivity deals across LATAM.* Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution shaping, proposal, negotiation, and closure.### Account Development & Growth* Lead strategic account planning and opportunity mapping for customers requiring fiber, transport, and data center connectivity.* Build multi-level relationships with decision-makers in network strategy, sourcing, and IT transformation.* Drive land-and-expand strategies to unlock new buying centers and regional projects.### Executive Stakeholder Engagement* Build trusted relationships with CxO-level stakeholders, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor.* Present deals, proposals, and business cases to customer executives and the internal Executive Leadership Team (ELT).### Hunting & Prospecting* Execute a disciplined outbound program targeting whitespace accounts in priority verticals and geographies.* Leverage market intelligence and industry relationships to generate qualified pipeline within the first 60–90 days.### Deal Leadership & Internal Collaboration* Act as deal quarterback, leading cross-functional pursuit teams (engineering, product, finance, legal, delivery).* Contribute to internal sales enablement, coaching junior team members, and supporting the refinement of the wholesale GTM playbook.### Pipeline Discipline & Forecasting* Maintain a consistent rhythm of pipeline generation, opportunity advancement, and accurate forecasting in CRM tools* Deliver detailed reports, executive summaries, and customer insights for senior management and planning teams.* Track KPIs: win rate, deal velocity, funnel quality, margin, and customer satisfaction.## What You Bring### Experience* 7+ years of success in B2B telecom or wholesale infrastructure sales, focused on fiber, transport, IP services, or data center interconnect.* Proven ability to win new logos and close complex deals ($500K–$10M+) in competitive environments.* Deep understanding of international and cross-border telecom deals, including regulatory and operational aspects.### Industry Network* A pre-established network of relationships with global carriers, hyperscalers, AI operators, and system integrators.* Recognized as a trusted advisor who helps customers scale and modernize infrastructure.### Skills & Competencies* Hunter mindset: resilient, competitive, and results-driven.* Strong technical knowledge of fiber infrastructure, DWDM, Ethernet, MPLS, IP networking, and data center ecosystems.* Advanced commercial and financial acumen: able to build and defend business cases and ROI models.* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including CxO presentations.### Languages & Education* Fluent in English and Spanish (required).* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.## What Success Looks Like (Year 1)* $8M+ qualified pipeline in 6 months.* 3–5 net-new strategic accounts closed within 6–12 months.* Active relationships with 10+ CxO-level stakeholders.## What We Offer* Being part of the team of a success story that drove double-digit revenue growth.* A seat at the table in a high-growth, restructured business unit with executive visibility.* Access to cutting-edge fiber infrastructure and regional partnerships.* Competitive compensation and commission structure.* A culture of high performance, integrity, and agility.*Millicom | Tigo is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce and nondiscrimination policy in all aspects of employment.
