Morrow-Meadows Corporation is accepting applications for a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our City of Industry headquarters. This role is an essential part of ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and union requirements. Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $35.00/hr Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for field employees Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Coordinate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate employee data Support onboarding of new employees, including entering payroll data, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper setup in payroll systems Handle prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting for projects Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and union benefit reporting Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll concerns and resolve discrepancies Assist with year-end reporting including W-2s and other tax documents Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll, union reporting, and certified payroll Requirements

3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction or electrical contracting Strong understanding of multi-union payroll and fringe benefits Familiarity with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements and systems; LCP Tracker, California DIR, etc. Proficiency in payroll software Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Excellent communicator, positive attitude, and enjoys working in a team environment Benefits
