Payroll Specialist
to join their team. The role involves processing employee compensation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, maintaining payroll records, and responding to employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for employees using payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, etc.
Review and verify timekeeping records, wage calculations, and deductions.
Ensure accurate submission of payroll tax filings and payments.
Maintain and update employee payroll records according to policies and laws.
Handle adjustments, garnishments, bonuses, and final paychecks.
Prepare payroll reports for audits and internal use.
Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Understanding of payroll principles, tax laws, and wage laws.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
