Job Description
A manufacturer in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Controller to join their team. In this role, the Controller will be responsible for managing large amounts of data, inventory and cost accounting, variance analysis and reporting, COGS, fixed assets, and managing other accounting operations tasks on the plant, manufacturing, and warehouse level. To be successful in this role, the Controller with need to be detail-oriented, and have strong communication and time management skills. Responsibilities
Oversee cost accounting Produce management reports, analysis, and planning for executive leadership Cost control on material and labor expenses Variance and performance management analysis Lead planning for cost inputs Manage product pricing, and create and maintain pricing list for standard products Balance sheet analysis and reconciliation Manage cycle count and physical inventory Act as liaison for cost, inventory, and fixed asset questions during the financial statement audit Assist with budgeting and forecasting Manage month-end close and preparation of financial statements Cap ex tracking, management and control Review excess and obsolete inventory Ad-hoc reporting and special projects Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 7+ years of accounting experience Must have manufacturing experience Must have inventory and/or cost accounting experience Advanced Excel Benefits
