Title: Litigation Paralegal

Compensation: $80-90K base
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings, ensuring that all documents and evidence are organized and available. This role is crucial in supporting our litigation efforts, particularly in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and trial exhibits.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and other necessary materials.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and manage case-related inquiries.
File legal documents with courts and maintain electronic filing systems.
Assist in the preparation of case briefs and summaries.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice.
Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
