Payroll Specialist

Job Responsibilities : Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing through a third-party provider to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and filings, including W-2s, 941 quarterly tax returns, and wage garnishments, to appropriate third parties. Handle employee updates such as terminations, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, and address changes. Support the preparation and organization of payroll tax filings, unemployment reports, EEO/DOL reports, and other payroll-related documents using Excel. Record uniform deductions, update unit amounts, and maintain accurate uniform balance records for employees. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations, while staying current with changes in payroll laws. Provide general administrative and clerical support to assist in day-to-day payroll operations. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Dayforce system experience Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably with a third-party payroll provider. Strong understanding of payroll processes, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Why choose Addison Group?
