Overview

Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join the Housekeeping Team. This is an opportunity to grow your career in a Fortune 500 company within a sophisticated luxury brand. As the city's first true luxury hotel and the only Forbes recommended hotel in the state, this 23-story tower has 247 rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, including The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and in-room dining. This role entails managing the daily operations of Housekeeping to support the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service and financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including supervision, counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward
  • Oversee and conduct room inspections
  • Recruit, interview and train team members

Qualifications & Attributes

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years\' supervisory or management experience in a hotel setting. Familiarity with Hilton systems and Luxury/Forbes standards is advantageous. In addition, we look for demonstration of the following values and attributes:
