Overview
Research Associate – CNS Drug Delivery | Full-time, Onsite in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on innovative drug delivery technologies for CNS disorders within a collaborative biotech team.
Responsibilities
Conduct in vivo studies in animal models to support preclinical research.
Prepare and handle blood and tissue samples for biochemical and histological analysis.
Collaborate across teams to drive studies and generate actionable data.
Support lab operations, including documentation, equipment maintenance, and data analysis.
Present findings to multidisciplinary teams and contribute to decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, etc.).
Hands-on experience with rodent or other mammalian models.
Skilled in tissue handling, biochemical, or histological assays.
Knowledge of CNS disease biology.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience with ELISA, RT-qPCR, or plate-based assays.
Exposure to biologics delivery (antibodies, oligonucleotides, peptides).
Background in animal handling, perfusion, or imaging.
Additional Details
Target Salary:
$85K - $95K
before bonus and benefits.
Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite).
