Performing and assisting in studies on the molecular immune response to infections, including projects related to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), pneumonia and sepsis. Work with novel genes generated by CRISPR-Cas9 in multiple genetically engineered mouse strains. Engage in animal models of disease (e.g. mouse survival surgery), mouse genotyping and mouse breeding colony management, cell cultures, immunology methods and molecular biology (e.g. ELISA, PCR, Western blotting, lung histology). Contribute to basic lab management and organization; participate in training opportunities within an international team of scientists and physicians. Qualifications
