Scope Of Responsibilities

Conduct full individual evaluations including cognitive assessments, academic achievement testing, and social-emotional-behavioral measures using telepractice adaptations of standardized instruments.

Ensure assessment practices maintain validity and reliability while accommodating virtual administration requirements.

Gather comprehensive background information through parent developmental history interviews, teacher consultations, and thorough review of educational records and previous evaluation data.

Integrate assessment data with information from multiple informants to develop accurate conceptualizations of student learning profiles, identifying both strengths and areas requiring support.

Write comprehensive evaluation reports that present findings in accessible language, discuss educational implications, and provide specific recommendations for instruction, accommodations, and intervention.

Participate as a critical member of IEP teams, contributing to eligibility determinations under IDEA categories and helping design individualized educational programs aligned with student needs.

Provide ongoing consultation supporting teachers in implementing behavioral interventions, instructional modifications, and progress monitoring procedures.

Assist in development and implementation of Section 504 plans for students requiring accommodations but not meeting special education eligibility criteria.

Engage in problem-solving consultation with school teams addressing individual student concerns and systemic issues affecting learning environments.

Support social-emotional learning initiatives and mental health promotion efforts within virtual school communities.

Maintain ethical practice standards including confidentiality, informed consent, and appropriate professional boundaries in telepractice contexts.

Essential Requirements

Active New Hampshire School Psychologist certification and a Master’s degree or CAGS in School Psychology.

Two years of post-degree experience providing school psychological services in educational settings.

Strong foundational knowledge in psychological assessment, child development, learning theory, and special education law.

Assessment competencies spanning cognitive, academic, and behavioral domains with ability to select appropriate instruments and interpret results accurately.

Consultation and collaboration skills enabling productive partnerships with administrators, teachers, related service providers, and families.

Technological proficiency supporting navigation of teletherapy platforms, video conferencing systems, and digital documentation tools used in virtual practice environments.

Home Office Specifications
