FTE Position Summary

We are seeking a career-minded Water/Wastewater Engineer with 5-10 years of experience, looking for growth and advancement in a fast-growing consulting engineering practice. The selected candidate will lead and support engineering designs in the water/wastewater field, applying knowledge of design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards, and processes. This role involves managing multiple design projects, developing and analyzing critical design elements, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality. Projects Include

Sewershed studies and rehabilitation Sewer design Water distribution systems Water/wastewater treatment facilities Pump stations Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Analyze project requirements and prepare technical reports. Review survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and geologic data for planning. Assess system performance deficiencies, predict future issues, and develop solutions. Conduct hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation, and pump station/treatment process design. Perform design computations and prepare construction cost estimates. Develop contract plans, specifications, and estimates. Attend client meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure design integration. Perform quality reviews of project designs per project management plans. Provide technical oversight and guidance to design engineers. Must-Have Requirements

5-10 years of water/wastewater engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited) Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, and MS Project Proficiency in Microsoft Office Previous employees who left the company within the last 5 years are not eligible Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Professional Engineering (PE) License Experience working with local clients at the county and state level Skills

Project Engineer, Water/Wastewater, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Project Working Conditions

Office Work: 95% of time, general office environment (sedentary, occasional standing/walking, normal lighting and temperature). Field Work: Occasional, outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid). May involve light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
