Kyndryl’s professional services organization Kyndryl Consult is seeking an experienced Consult Partner with deep industry expertise in the manufacturing industry and experience in applying artificial intelligence to drive digital transformation outcomes. The role guides clients through digital transformation, drives operational excellence, measures value, and solves mission-critical challenges. Preference is for applicants based near significant US manufacturing businesses. Leveraging Kyndryl’s global capabilities across Cloud, Core Enterprise & zCloud, Network and Edge, Applications, Data & AI, Security & Resilience, and Digital Workplace Services, Consult Partners create and deliver value for clients, supported by our alliance ecosystem. Consult Partners lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex engagements and are accountable for delivering value and growth in Kyndryl’s largest accounts. You will build senior-level business and technology relationships and have opportunities to lead small teams on multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Leadership delivering customized client engagements that provide valuable insights, strategies, and roadmaps to drive a modernization agenda with our clients Leverage existing manufacturing and automotive industry relationships Develop and maintain relationships with key client and Kyndryl stakeholders Develop a pipeline of opportunities, originate, develop, and sign new business deals in alignment with C-level clients and their business needs Team with Kyndryl account leadership to facilitate account planning and drive pursuit teams to develop proposals, refine solutions, and navigate negotiations for growth Bring deep manufacturing industry-centric and artificial intelligence leadership, including success stories and points of view on digital modernization principles Identify land-and-expand opportunities to drive larger transformational programs Demonstrated track record of at least 10 years of consulting sales experience Note: Vaccination policy is subject to client location requirements. Job Qualifications Required Professional and Technical Expertise and Education: Extensive experience in technology consulting with a global firm (preferably Big 5) with proven sales, business development, charging, delivery and growth outcomes Continuous learning mindset with deep manufacturing industry knowledge, AI applications, and competitive trends that enable Kyndryl solutions Experience combining consulting, implementation, and managed services, with successful delivery Experience delivering workshops, assessments, strategies, roadmaps, designs, and deployment plans Proven ability to shape large, multi-competency deals across Kyndryl practices and alliances Strong client relationship skills with executive focus Industry 4.0 / digital transformation experience in manufacturing or automotive; 5+ years preferred Knowledge across technology and AI trends, business challenges, and market dynamics Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise: Experience with SOW/contract development, negotiation, and deal closure Development of business cases with ROI analysis Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP and familiarity with their partner ecosystems Experience with AI-enabled transformation for manufacturing firms Experience with GenAI, LLMs, AI/ML and agentic AI initiatives Understanding of modern software engineering concepts (agile, cloud-native, DevOps) and target operating models Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies and articulate potential applications in manufacturing The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $151,560 to $272,760, depending on geography, skills and experience. Other locations have different ranges. The position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. If this is a sales-commission eligible role, you may participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
