Paraprofessional IV - Behavior (6.5 hrs/day) - Buckeye School of the Arts #1193 at Gateway Unified School District. 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Base pay range

$19.16/hr - $26.14/hr Responsibilities

Provide behavior intervention support for students as part of the Buckeye School of the Arts program. Assist with behavior management, analyze situations, and implement effective actions to support instructional goals. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed in collaboration with teachers and specialists. Qualifications

Evidence of compliance with No Child Left Behind Act requirements; eligibility criteria include any of the following: 48 college units or an AA degree or paraprofessional exam certificate. Possess a valid California Driver License, reliable transportation, and be insurable at standard rates. Must participate in district-provided training (e.g., Pro-Act, LRP Modules or equivalent online training, Behavior Management Techniques, Physical Restraint). Knowledge of basic behavior management principles and practices preferred; ability to analyze situations including instruction, class and behavior management, and monitor student progress. Complete required pre-hire procedures: background check, fingerprint clearance, TB test, Keenan Safe Schools training. Application and process
