Our ad solutions—including Sponsored Ads, Display and Video advertising, and custom programs—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. Within Amazon Advertising, the AdTech Account Executives are sales experts focused on developing strategic partnerships and driving adoption of Amazon Advertising technology products across advertising agencies and advertisers. The Global AdTech Organization is goaled to position Amazon DSP (ADSP) and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) as enterprise ad tech solutions that deliver outcomes across Branding, Performance, and Full-Funnel objectives. The responsibility of an AdTech Account Executive includes building relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including CMOs, CDOs, CTOs, Procurement and Marketing leaders, as well as Programmatic advertising leadership across agencies and brands. You will work collaboratively with other sales teams internally, enabling solutions for marketers across our AdTech offerings and creating significant new business opportunities for Amazon Advertising. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry landscape, with a background in business development, enterprise sales, or consulting; proven experience selling and implementing large-scale projects with holding company agencies at both the global and local level; a track record of thought leadership on marketing industry trends and emerging technologies; and a comprehensive understanding of SaaS companies and ad tech partners used by enterprise marketers. Key job responsibilities include: Own relationships with AdTech decision makers across both brands and agencies to successfully build and maintain a sales pipeline, focusing on ADSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud Deeply understand Amazon Advertising’s AdTech value proposition—particularly around Open Internet—and effectively articulate that value to clients Own a strategic client development plan in partnership with key internal stakeholders Manage complex customer relationships and initiatives with considerable impact, acting as a trusted advisor both externally and internally Respond to inbound RFPs (Request for Proposal), RFIs (Request for Information), and proactively develop custom ideas and solutions Capture client feedback on business alignment and usability of Amazon AdTech technology, organizing feedback and collaborating with product management to drive scalable changes through to completion Conduct live demonstrations of Amazon Ads technology products Basic Qualifications: Significant large customer or agency sales experience Extensive experience delivering results, closing sales and generating revenue in a sales or partnership development role at a digital ad tech company Solid understanding of the advertising ecosystem, ad technology and marketing automation to enable identification of how Amazon Advertising solutions help customers reach their marketing goals Ability to communicate effectively and confidently to negotiate at all customer levels, including VP and C-Suite Excellent analytical abilities and confidence using data to inform decisions and strategies Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skill Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree +7 experience driving revenue growth for an advertising technology or enterprise software company Experience selling enterprise cloud Ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets Previous experience working in the programmatic and/or ad technology industry Comfort in ambiguity and willingness to creatively help shape the expansion of this role Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
