We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist to join a patient-focused team in Austin, TX. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, performing high-quality specimen collections, and supporting accurate laboratory processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, and alcohol testing.
- Accurately enter patient and billing information.
- Prepare and process specimens for analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen logs with strict attention to detail.
- Provide an outstanding patient experience in every interaction.
- Support administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
- Travel to additional collection sites as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist (1+ year preferred).
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
- Experience working with patients from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
