Job Summary
SUBSTITUTE - ON CALL position: Production Assistant. The position is on call as needed and may offer work on weekdays or weekends. Compensation: Range 105; Schedule M; Step 1: $27.45 hourly. This is an OPEN recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the Production Assistant (Substitute) classification. No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of applicants.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology or assigned supervisor, provide assistance and support for theatrical productions, film productions, and other district events.
- Serve as a liaison and provide guidance to the public, students, and staff to meet their needs.
- Receives technical guidance and work instructions from the Director of Information Technology or designee.
Qualifications
- Any combination equivalent to education, training, and experience that could provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. A typical pathway: completion of at least two years of college with exposure or participation in theater and/or film production. Some paid experience in theater or film production is desirable.
License Requirements
Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
