The Role We are seeking an experienced

Attorney

to join our team, with a strong background in

class actions

and

employment law . This role is ideal for an attorney who is eager to take ownership of significant cases, move matters forward efficiently, and contribute to the firm’s growth.

You will handle a variety of matters—including wage and hour disputes, employment litigation, and class actions—while working closely with Kenneth Katz (Firm Owner & Managing Partner), Nicole Grunfield (Partner), and a talented team of paralegals and support staff. The right candidate will be comfortable navigating both individual and large-scale cases, including federal court litigation.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage employment law and class action cases, from intake through resolution. Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.

Represent clients in employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims.

Handle litigation in state and federal courts, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trials. Participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Collaborate with co-counsel on large-scale class actions and independently manage smaller matters.

Provide legal analysis, strategy, and recommendations to clients and partners.

Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

Maintain high professional and ethical standards consistent with firm values.

Qualifications

5+ years of legal experience , preferably in

employment law

and

class action litigation .

Licensed to practice in

New York (required) ; admission to

New Jersey (preferred, not required) .

Demonstrated litigation experience, preferably in

federal court .

Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Ability to independently manage complex cases and move them forward efficiently.

Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

Base annual salary of $110,000 to $150,000
