Overview
Directive Consulting is the leading B2B performance marketing agency that delivers real revenue—not just leads. We use Customer Generation to cut through the noise and drive pipeline, SQLs, and growth for SaaS and B2B brands. We hire people who challenge the status quo and push campaigns past what’s expected. The Content Strategist is a crucial, client-facing role responsible for day-to-day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with both clients and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on Enterprise clients and requires a deep understanding of how our service lines impact broader marketing strategy. Internally, this role is titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO. What You'll Do
Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve NSMs. Develop and refine client strategies based on goals, campaigns, and performance, while adhering to Directive best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Director when roadblocks affect strategy and goal attainment. Content Campaigns: Craft creative briefs and content campaigns using competitor and audience insights. Industry Best Practices: Apply LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to inform strategies. Goal Setting: Use available data to set client goals, reviewed and approved by the Associate Director in meetings with the client. Data Sources: Leverage Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs for goal setting and reporting. Project Management: Ensure strategy execution with clear ownership using Asana; delegate tasks to team members and clients as needed; partner with Project Managers to meet deadlines and maintain quality. Content and Design Collaboration: Work with content writers and designers to deliver campaigns on time and to client standards. Communication: Serve as the primary interface between clients and the Directive team; proactively communicate timelines, progress, and roadblocks to clients and internal leadership through regular updates (Slack and bi-weekly meetings). Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients (bi-weekly meetings, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business reviews). What You'll Bring
