Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a problem-solver, and passionate about people and processes. Key Responsibilities
Administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and orientation Maintain and update HRIS systems and personnel records Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, including conducting an annual review of the employee handbook to ensure all policies are current, compliant, and aligned with organizational practices Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics, including performance, conduct, and career development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Own recruitment process efforts, including drafting and posting job descriptions, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers throughout the selection process Lead university recruiting initiatives, including managing Handshake postings, organizing on-campus interviews, and representing the company at career fairs Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for employees regarding office operations, company policies, and employee concerns or complaints, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus Compensation And Benefits
