We’re seeking a
litigation-ready Associate Attorney
with strong attention to detail, a commitment to client advocacy, and a desire to grow within employment law. The ideal candidate has experience handling plaintiff-only employment law claims, including: Discrimination and retaliation Whistleblower protection Workers’ compensation retaliation Failure to accommodate (ADA) FMLA and rights Wage and hour violations Wrongful termination under state and federal statutes Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in employment matters and provide legal counsel and advocacy in civil proceedings. Manage a caseload from pre-suit through resolution. Conduct legal research, draft complaints, pleadings, and motions. Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and hearings. File legal documents in state and federal portals. Negotiate settlements and attend conferences. Collaborate with supervising attorneys on legal strategies. Maintain consistent communication with clients and opposing counsel. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar. 1–3 years of litigation experience (new attorneys with relevant clinic or clerkship experience are encouraged to apply). Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Passion for advocacy and client service. Employment law or civil litigation experience but not required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Benefits
