The

Senior Events Manager

is responsible for supporting the strategic vision and providing oversight for the Patrick Bet-David family of companies’ conferences and events. This role provides guidance for conference and event department activities including event management through planning, budget development and management, delivery, post-event evaluation, monitoring and evaluation, and other strategic initiatives.

The Senior Events Manager works closely with the Director of Events to plan and execute large corporate meetings and conferences (3,000 – 20,000 attendees). You should have a strong understanding of venue management, vendor coordination, large-scale registration, sponsor activations, and attendee logistics.

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain comprehensive event workbooks, production schedules, and layouts

Oversee vendor procurement and coordination across security, logistics, and hospitality

Manage cross-functional workstreams in alignment with timelines and budgets

Confident leadership and communication in large-scale venue environments

Collaborate with the team to plan and execute various events, including conferences, product launches, and promotional gatherings

Support all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals

Liaise with external vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure services align with event requirements

Oversee event setup, manage staff, and ensure smooth operations during the event, addressing any issues promptly

Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness while delivering high-quality experiences

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement

Support post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and generate reports to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields preferred

5+ years of proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Large event and/or conference management required; experiential events experience is ideal

Familiarity with event management software and tools for seamless execution

Strong working knowledge of project management and collaboration tools (ClickUp, Monday.com, Wrike, etc.)

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

Must have strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and details efficiently

Must be able to brainstorm and implement innovative event concepts aligned with the brand

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and attendees

Must possess quick problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes during events

Proficiency in budget planning and management, ensuring events are cost-effective is ideal

Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers is preferred

Must be willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules

Comfortable balancing creative, logistical, and operational priorities

Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
