About the Role We are seeking a qualified
Medical Physicist (Ph.D. or M.S.)
to join a collaborative and high-performing team serving the
North Dallas Region . The position is based in
Flower Mound, TX , with the opportunity to work closely with a network of five fully staffed radiation oncology centers in the area (McKinney, Plano, Denison, Denton, and Flower Mound). This role offers a highly professional environment with access to advanced technology, a strong multidisciplinary team, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful cancer treatment outcomes across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities Provide full range of
on-site clinical medical physics support , including HDR, SRS, and SBRT. Ensure quality assurance, calibration, and dosimetry for all treatment and imaging equipment. Participate in physics support across the
North Dallas Region
as needed. Advise physicians and clinical staff on technical and dosimetric aspects of patient treatments. Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and professional regulations. Support and guide dosimetrists and radiation therapists to ensure optimal patient care.
Equipment & Systems Treatment & Imaging Equipment:
Six Varian Linacs, Elekta Nucletron HDR, Nucletron Flexitron HDR, GE CTs, PET/CT systems. Software & Systems:
ARIA, Eclipse (conventional and SRS/SBRT), RadCalc, SNC Physics, Profiler, 3D scanning systems.
Qualifications
Required: Master’s or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics (from an accredited institution) ABR Certification (or Board Eligible – CAMPEP residency graduates considered) Texas Medical Board License (or eligibility to obtain)
Preferred: Strong clinical experience in a radiation oncology environment Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
