Senior Evaluation Consultant – Evaluation of UNICEF’s Manager Support Programme Join the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) to manage a comprehensive independent evaluation of UNICEF’s Manager Support Programme (MSP), covering design, data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform future MSP cycles.

Scope of Work

Lead methodological design and refine the evaluation framework during the inception phase.

Oversee data collection and ensure quality and consistency across interviews, focus groups, surveys, and case studies.

Coordinate team inputs, manage timelines, and deliver draft and final inception summary.

Facilitate participatory approaches, including sense‑making and co‑creation workshops.

Draft and finalize key deliverables: inception summary, evaluation report, presentations, communication products.

Ensure compliance with UNEG and UNICEF quality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Masters) in Evaluation, social sciences, organizational studies, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex evaluations in international organizations.

Expertise in mixed‑methods and theory‑based approaches, integrating gender‑equality, equity and inclusion considerations.

Strong facilitation skills for participatory evaluation (sense‑making, co‑creation).

Familiarity with the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) norms and standards for evaluation.

Excellent writing, synthesis, and communication skills.

Fluency in English; knowledge of other UN languages an asset.
