Controller
Our client, a high-growth, Series B, VC-backed, AI company, is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and support strategic growth initiatives.
Location:
San Francisco, CA. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday. 10-12-hour days are common.
Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
Drive ERP system implementation and future migrations.
Manage external financial reporting and annual audit processes.
Develop internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Build and lead a high-performing accounting team to support scale.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 and high-growth tech company exposure.
Strong ERP implementation and migration experience.
Proven success in leading audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
CPA certification strongly preferred.
Compensation $200K - $250K base + discretionary bonus and generous equity.
