The organization employs over 2,000 people, operates five job‑training centers, 23 retail stores and more than 27 donation sites in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Kitsap Counties.

About The Position The Manager of Organizational Development & Leadership Strategy plays a dual role as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on practitioner in this space. This leader is accountable for setting the enterprise‑wide vision for leadership and development while actively designing, delivering, and operationalizing programs to grow managers and leaders across the organization. The manager will create frameworks for leadership and supervisory development including succession planning, coaching, and manager/supervisor competencies. The manager will drive digital and AI literacy, align learning initiatives with organizational competencies and values, and ensure that learning solutions are accessible and impactful at all levels. The manager will also be the point person in the organization for Organizational Change and Development, and have a key role in supporting the Evergreen Goodwill culture and values.

Strategic Leadership & Vision
Establish and lead the enterprise‑wide leadership and development strategy, aligned with organizational transformation goals and mission.
Build a framework for continuous learning that incorporates leadership development, digital/AI literacy, supervisory skills, and technical training.
Embed competencies and organizational values into all training initiatives to strengthen culture and performance.
Program Development & Delivery
Design and deliver scalable, engaging training programs that combine digital (LinkedIn Learning, LMS), instructor‑led, and experiential learning.
Create frameworks for leadership and supervisory development including succession planning, coaching, and manager/supervisor competencies.
Develop leadership and supervisory training that builds talent pipelines for future organizational needs.
Integrate technology, AI, and computer literacy into learning programs to build future‑ready skills.
Organizational Development & Culture Building
Lead initiatives that drive cultural transformation and align employees with mission and values.
Design OD interventions to improve organizational effectiveness, engagement, and collaboration.
Support change management efforts tied to technological and cultural shifts.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
Partner with Mission Advancement and Retail Operations to align training practices and priorities, and share resources effectively.
Collaborate with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and co‑create solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner on learning and organizational development needs.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Competence in data analytics for learning effectiveness, business impact, and workforce readiness, including designing metrics, dashboards, and reporting ROI of learning programs.
Continuously refine learning strategies using data, feedback, and best practices.
Position Requirements Education
Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning, or related field (Bachelor’s with equivalent experience considered).
Certifications in leadership development methodologies or tools (i.e., DiSC, Crucial Conversations, etc.) is a plus.
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in organizational development, learning strategy, or leadership development in complex, multi‑site organizations.
Demonstrated success leading cultural and technological transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to design enterprise‑wide competency models, leadership frameworks, and learning strategies.
Experience leveraging digital learning platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, AI‑driven tools) in large‑scale environments.
Understanding of nonprofit operations, retail, or warehouse management environments preferred.
Experience in workforce planning, succession planning, performance management systems.
Facilitation of retreats, leadership forums, or similar high‑touch interventions.
Proven experience with formal change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR) or ability to lead change using established methodologies.

Hybrid work schedule, at least three days per week required in office.
