Caldic, a distribution solutions partner of specialty chemicals, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead safety programs and ensure compliance. The role drives initiatives to protect employees and the company against harm and maintains safe working conditions. Key Responsibilities
Lead all Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives for BrandNu Laboratories Develop and implement safety programs and policies to reduce injuries, financial and property loss Investigate hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions, review recommendations and mitigate risks Coordinate annual budget and assist in capital expenditure budgets related to EHS programs Establish short‑ and long‑range goals, monitor program effectiveness and effect improvements Develop, implement, present and keep records of EHS training programs, including initial and ongoing training Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills Coordinate and manage regular Safety Committee meetings and actions identified Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7‑10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably environmental health and safety In‑depth knowledge of local, state and federal EHS regulations Proven record of recordkeeping systems and accident investigation Proven ability to investigate accidents and near‑misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures Knowledge of chemical, hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, and/or environmental health Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills Results oriented, attention to detail, and safety‑oriented mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities Benefits & Opportunities
