What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assign and maintain administrative code set mappings (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, HCPCS) for interface terminology
Maintain content in accordance with code set updates and adhere to coding guidelines
Support product release schedules, including resolving identified mapping issues
Identify potential areas for map improvement and manage complex customer inquiries
Act as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle and health information management
What is Required (Qualifications):
Extensive experience with US-based code sets: ICD-10-CM/PCS, ICD-9-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
One of the following credentials required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC
Minimum of five years’ experience with medical records coding, electronic health records, and medical terminology
Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management systems or equivalent experience
Experience with working claims edits, payor denials, and/or risk-adjustment coding
