Overview

The Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Joint Community College District (Shasta College) is seeking an Administrative Professional II to support day‑to‑day operations across campus. The position offers a full‑time schedule (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday) and a Classified assignment at Step 1 of the salary schedule. Responsibilities

Effectively communicates with faculty, staff, and students. Relieves assigned administrator of routine administrative actions. Prepares correspondence, memoranda, reports, minutes, and other materials. Assists in preparing the area budget and monitors grants. Schedules appointments, confirms dates, and reserves meeting sites. Maintains accurate records and a detailed calendar of events. Receives, sorts, and distributes mail and processes confidential information. Develops or assists in office operating procedures and record‑keeping systems. Makes travel arrangements. Directs, trains, and monitors student assistants. Participates in campus committees and events. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent education and experience. Two years of increasingly responsible administrative professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related campus applications. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information with integrity. Experience supervising and training student workers. Additional Information
