Join Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team to lead the design, planning, and execution of large‑scale data center construction projects that support hyperscale growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement long‑term standards and strategies for data center colocation construction projects.
Lead and mentor a high‑performance team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals.
Oversee construction oversight for data center projects by colocation providers, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality.
Coordinate with the DCIB tenant fit‑out teams and design teams to align construction activities with approved designs.
Analyze project risk profiles, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate potential impacts to business.
Ensure all construction activities comply with regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Maintain detailed project schedules, manage vendor relationships, and navigate regulatory compliance.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance data center performance and sustainability.
Represent Oracle in meetings across multiple time zones to support live engagement and international projects.
Travel up to 50% or more; remote work available.
Required Skills
Deep knowledge of base building data center construction: civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, plumbing.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities.
Proven expertise in managing large‑scale data center projects from inception to completion.
Leadership experience driving diverse teams.
Budget creation and management, risk management, vendor selection and negotiation.
Regulatory compliance knowledge and regulatory engagement.
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of construction project management with focus on data center or colocation infrastructure.
Track record of managing large‑scale construction projects with quality control and design coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
