Pharmacist – Float – Atrius Health
Overview This position is looking for a Pharmacist to join the Atrius team at our union site in Boston, MA with an open full‑time schedule that works best for you. This location includes a generous benefits package and endless opportunities for growth to make the career you want.
Responsibilities
Prepare, compound, and dispense medications and other pharmaceutical items to patients.
Manage site pharmacy operations including workflow, prescription processing, inventory management, financial profitability, payroll management, and security.
Maintain quality control and document safety reports needed to support effective and safe operations.
Collaborate with pharmacy personnel, physicians, and other clinical department staff to deliver safe and optimal drug therapy.
Work rotating shifts to meet patient and business needs.
Education & Licenses & Certifications
Graduate of accredited school of Pharmacy; Pharm D or Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required.
Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts with an active pharmacist license without restrictions from the MA Board of Pharmacy.
Complete 20 Continuing Education (CE) credits per calendar year as required by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
Immunization certified required.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
Experience
Three years’ experience in high-volume retail pharmacy preferred.
Team‑oriented with excellent customer service skills, effective verbal and written communication, problem‑solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and colleagues.
