Overview
Join Atrius Health as a full‑time Pharmacist in Somerville, MA. This role is under the Chief Pharmacist and involves all aspects of site pharmacy operations. Work rotating shifts and collaborate with clinical staff to deliver safe and optimal drug therapy.
Responsibilities
Prepare, compound, and dispense medications and pharmaceutical items according to policies and regulations.
Manage workflow, prescription processing, inventory, financial profitability, payroll, and security.
Maintain quality control and document safety reports.
Collaborate with pharmacy personnel, physicians, and clinical staff to deliver safe and optimal drug therapy.
Education & Licenses
Graduate of accredited School of Pharmacy; Pharm D or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts with an active license without restrictions.
Complete 20 continuing education credits per calendar year.
Immunization certified.
American Heart Association BLS required; ACLS may be required.
Experience & Skills
Three years’ experience in high volume retail pharmacy preferred.
Team oriented with excellent customer service, communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
