Join Cedarhurst Senior Living as a Traveling Executive Director. This full‑time, regional leadership role requires frequent overnight travel and the opportunity to impact the lives of older adults across our communities.
Location: Edwardsville, IL.
Pay Range $95,000.00 per year (base)
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership, ensuring quality nursing care and regulatory compliance in assigned communities.
Serve as the resident’s advocate, fostering a culture of compassion, safety, and positive experience.
Advise and support existing Executive Directors, delivering training, mentoring and resources to sustain high performance.
Drive profitability and operational excellence, managing financial performance, marketing, sales and talent acquisition.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute community‑wide initiatives that align with Cedarhurst’s mission and values.
Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of senior care experience, including executive or senior management in assisted living or memory care.
State license or certification to own/operate an assisted living or memory care center.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
Proficiency in financial stewardship, operating budgets, and strategic planning.
Commitment to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, and a strong ethical foundation.
Intuitive problem‑solving, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, travel‑heavy environment.
