Mammography Technologist – Sign On Bonus $7,500 Intermountain Health is looking for a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our clinical team at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality breast imaging care, supporting patients and providers, and contributing to our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible.

Job Overview As a Mammography Technologist you will perform breast imaging procedures, maintain image quality, support patient care, and participate in quality initiatives. This is a full‑time position (40 hrs/wk) with a competitive hourly rate based on experience, a sign‑on bonus of up to $7,500, and relocation assistance of up to $5,000 where applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform mammography and breast ultrasound imaging procedures within the scope of the department.

Obtain informed consent, acquire accurate clinical history, and position patients for optimal image capture.

Review test results for quality, completeness, and protocol selection; coordinate images and documentation for provider partners.

Document patient information accurately and communicate findings to the clinical team; ensure safe hand‑off between shifts.

Monitor equipment reliability, report issues, and maintain a clean, safe work environment (rooms, supplies, equipment).

Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize patient exposure; participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) program.

ARRT certification (R) required; ARRT (M) within 18 months of hire (site differences noted).

State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or ARRT certification as required.

Health Care Provider Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT (BS) or ARDMS certification.

One year of diagnostic radiology experience.

Previous experience in breast imaging procedures.

Physical Requirements Lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, standing, and walking.

Compensation & Benefits Base hourly rate: $35.25 – $54.39, dependent on experience. Sign‑on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance up to $5,000 (where applicable).
