Responsibilities
Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team. The Sales Leader manages operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, trains associates, and ensures a great in-store shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential. Provide coaching and training to store associates on store operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and standards. Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance. Train associates on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge. Implement action plans to optimize results. Oversee daily store operations. Ensure proper associate coverage for a great customer experience. Manage checkout processes. Assist with merchandise flow, including shipments, replenishment, and omni-channel operations. Monitor and analyze customer service quality. Create effective staff schedules. Promote an environment focused on delivering excellent customer experiences. Resolve customer service issues effectively. Lead and exemplify the customer experience standards. Maintain expert knowledge of products, policies, promotions, and loyalty programs. Support product launches, visual displays, signage, etc. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Required Experience & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience Proficiency with technology (iPad, registers) Availability including nights, weekends, and non-business hours Ability to meet physical requirements Critical Skills & Attributes
Previous retail experience preferred Effective communication skills Proven sales accountability Teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to multitask effectively Benefits and Compensation
