Overview
As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This is a full‑cycle recruiting role that covers sourcing, placement, and candidate coaching throughout the job search process. You will engage with candidates over phone, email, and in‑person, coach their resumes and interview skills, and manage the offer process. Your day will also include team meetings, posting job ads, and utilizing online sourcing tools.
Your Day
Identify prospective candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
Interview prospective candidates.
Prep candidates for client interviews, reviewing resumes and understanding client needs.
Deliver good news – extend job offers and manage the offer process.
Follow up with candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything they need.
Proactively cold‑call potential candidates to build your talent pool.
You'll Need
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; you will spend most of your time communicating with candidates and clients.
A love for working with people.
High self‑motivation; you will be expected to make hundreds of calls each week.
Leadership skills and a competitive drive.
Sound judgment and discretion when assessing business needs and candidate fit.
An intense drive to meet or exceed goals and metrics.
