Your role as a Recruiter (Macon, GA)
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the onsite Human Resources Business Partner, Hiring Manager, and Senior Recruiter to source, recruit and attract top talent for open roles.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process (intake with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates and onboarding new hires).
- Ensure there is traction in the hiring process and communicate with all relevant internal stakeholders.
- Determine creative sourcing strategies to find talent in specialized markets.
- Provide recommendations and consultation regarding NewCold's recruitment strategy and candidate experience.
- Work on projects in coordination with HR leadership to support employer brand and employee engagement strategies.
- Manage workflows to ensure Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data is up to date and accurate.
- Develop and maintain reporting, KPIs, and metrics for leadership.
- Work with HR team for collaborative recruitment and retention strategies.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:
Education
- BA degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience with high-volume hourly positions.
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, warehousing or supply chain industry.
- Background recruiting skilled labor markets (Maintenance Technicians, Machine Operators, System Operators) and general labor recruitment (Forklift Operators, Order Selectors, Order Pickers).
- Proficient with Talent Acquisition tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Cornerstone Applicant Tracking System-ATS).
- Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to build rapport with leaders at all levels of leadership.
- Must be comfortable screening for technical skills and understanding technical roles.
- Must be organized and able to manage requisitions in ATS.
- Ability to speak comfortably to candidates about the company and "sell" the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to manage multiple open positions.
- Self-starter who is willing to take initiative.
