Responsibilities

• Interprets operating results as they affect the organization and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Supports sales, marketing, and manufacturing functions with financial analysis.
• Participates in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
• Develops accounting principles to comply with GAAP, tax requirements, and SOX requirements.
• Administers general accounting, internal auditing, and record retention programs while acting as the primary contact with the organization’s independent auditors on accounting matters.
• Directs preparation of periodic and yearly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements.

Experience Required

• 3+ years of public accounting, preferably with some tax experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of management.
• CPA or CFP required.
