Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) is looking for Senior Manufacturing Cost Reduction Specialist (Navigator) to lead projects in the Americas region (mainly USA and Mexico) with focus on Indirect Cost optimization across the factories. As part of our growing team, you will be leading projects to achieve strong contribution margin improvements by reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Cost (MRO, Transport & Logistics, Packaging, Energy & Utilities).
This position is a remote postion requiring flexibility and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
In this role, you will work in close collaboration with stakeholders and collegues within Procurement, Freight Management, Logistics departments etc. as well as Suppliers. You will be working in a multicultural environment with highly competent colleagues, running projects and drive change management initiatives resulting in reduction of the Indirect Cost in our factories. We are a global segment with more than 61 factories all over the world.
Job Responsibilities
Project Lead of cross‑functional projects to identify and implement Indirect Cost optimization potentials
Secure buy‑in from stakeholders, analyzing data, scope definition, defining the project team
Support in preparing business cases and creating tactical implementation plans (TIP)
Drive Performance Management (PMS) to ensure timely execution to achieve agreed targets, provide corrective actions if needed, and report out to Management
Promote a culture of sustainable change and productivity driven mindset within our organization
You will act as a partner to our manufacturing and supply chain leaders to elevate a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost across the entire value chain.
As part of a global team, you will search and share best practices and enroll Danfoss standards proactively.
Background & Skills
Minimum 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Continuous Improvement in a performance‑driven organization or consulting.
Previous manufacturing experience within a large or medium‑size organization.
The successful candidate has a track record of hands‑on experience in implementing change management projects resulting in lower cost.
