Overview The Accounting Manager will have a high‑visibility role working closely with executive leadership on financial strategy and operations. Opportunity to lead a collaborative accounting team and implement process improvements that drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in collaboration with leadership
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Partner with other departments to support operational and strategic initiatives
Lead special projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting best practices
Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and skilled at building cross‑functional relationships
