Tax - Business Tax Services - Corporate Tax Senior
Location: Anywhere in the U.S.
Base pay range: $82,000 – $135,200 per year.

The opportunity EY Private Tax is a growing practice serving privately held companies, from family‑owned businesses to private‑equity‑owned firms. The role focuses on high‑growth private companies, offering impact on technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects. Training and support enable advancement to manager.
Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare or review federal and state tax returns for U.S. corporations and partnerships; handle foreign reporting for cross‑border compliance.
Draft tax research, memoranda, and quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services.
Identify and communicate significant tax matters to partners and senior leaders.
Liaise and develop relationships with other service lines and subject‑matter professionals.
Build long‑term client relationships, tailoring service to unique needs.
Communicate complex tax issues to non‑tax professionals and clients.
Continuously update and share technical knowledge and best practices.
Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; tax, business, or financial planning experience.
CPA eligibility or membership in the bar.
Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions.
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills; confidence to challenge colleagues and stakeholders across backgrounds.
Minimum three years of professional services or tax organization experience.
Commitment to continuous learning.
Proficiency with tax software (RIA, CCH IntelliConnect, OneSource, BNA, Lexis Nexis).
Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
